Surgical Rehabilitation Massage
During a surgical rehabilitation session, lymphatic drainage massage is performed. This technique is very gentle and rhythmic, and it stimulates the flow of lymphatic fluid in the body.
Sessions are recommended twice weekly for three weeks, then once a week as needed.
*Client must be released by surgeon to receive massage therapy.
*If a client requires help to remove compression garments, arrangements should be made to bring a third party.
*Massage therapy cannot be performed while stitches (internal or external) are in place.

Scar Management
Massage therapy can often help soften and mobilize scar tissue, promoting proper alignment and reducing the risk of adhesions.
Gentle massage techniques can improve the appearance and texture of scars over time.
Massage is performed, followed by the application of Kinesiology tape, which lifts the skin to enhance fluid flow and circulation.
Sessions are recommended twice weekly for three weeks, then once a week as needed.
