Michael brings over two decades of clinical massage experience to Riverside Orthopaedic Massage Center. Before entering the massage field, he was a Regional Executive in the coffee and tea industry with Starbucks and Barnie's Coffee & Tea throughout the 1990s. He then transitioned to the Atlanta School of Massage, serving as Admissions Director from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 he and his partner began his practice in Decatur, Georgia, adjacent to Atlanta. All of his Atlanta-area awards were earned with his former practice in Atlanta before relocating to Rome. Now in Rome, he has garnered over a dozen Best of Rome Awards. Michael is a native of North Georgia and resides in the city of Rome where he lives with his spouse, two Maine Coons, Saffie and Sawyer, and Ivan and Lucy, his Russian tortoise and Northern Red-belly turtle.
R.h. Rankin is, first and always, a homemaker who has spent nearly 25 years building a steady, supportive home life with his spouse. In 2007, he began carefully educating himself about the financial markets and gradually stepped into trading and investing. Since then, he has grown into a seasoned technical trader and long‑term investor, managing portfolios with patience, discipline, and a strong sense of risk awareness.
Alongside his spouse, R.h. has helped start three companies, including Riverside Orthopaedic Massage Center, bringing a calm, practical voice to both big decisions and everyday problem‑solving. At Riverside, he supports the clinic behind the scenes with administrative work and bookkeeping, helping schedules, records, and finances stay organized so the focus can stay on client care.
Blending his roles as homemaker, trader, and business partner, R.h. brings a steady, thoughtful presence to everything he does—at home, in the markets, and in each business he helps support.

The owner of this practice was my neuromuscular massage therapist in Atlanta for over 10 years, before he relocated to Rome GA. He is excellent!
